The buffer height complies with the NEM standard, and the locomotive has spring close couplings. Brake hoses and screw couplings are included as parts that can be installed separately.

The total length of the locomotive is approximately 18.9 cm. You can combine this locomotive with matching passenger carriages that can be found in the Märklin H0 range under item numbers 43897, 43898 and 43899. This locomotive is also available in a DC version in the Trix H0 range under item number 22431.
